About Denver International Airport
DIA's customer service begins with Guest Services staff. Located in airport information booths, these employees answer questions and solve problems, serving any airport guest who needs help. You can go to an information booth and ask to page someone or you can get directions to airline ticket counters, airline gates, or baggage-claim carousels. Guest Services can guide you to the best resources to meet your needs, and they can provide tourist information about Denver and Colorado. The airport has an information booth in Jeppesen Terminal and at each concourse.
White courtesy telephones are located throughout the airport. Dial 2000 for a direct link to Guest Services personnel for paging, information, and to report emergencies.

|Airport Lost and Found
Items found in public areas at the airport are taken to Airport Lost and Found on Level 6 Jeppesen Terminal . The Lost and Found office is open Mondays through Fridays, 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. To inquire about an item lost at an airport location (restaurant, bathroom, security screening, etc.) call (303) 342-4062 (menu option 1), (800) AIR-2DEN (menu option 4) or send an inquiry by e-mail .
Airlines Lost and Found
Personal items lost while in flight or at an airline gate are collected and held for claim by the respective airline. Lost luggage is also held for claim by airline companies. To report lost items or luggage, visit our Airlines at DIA Web page to contact your airline directly.
Denver International Airport's friendly Hospitality Ambassadors provide information and other assistance for airport guests. You can find Ambassadors, identifiable by their white cowboy hats, throughout the airport. They can help you navigate the airport smoothly, locate gates, services and amenities. These community volunteers can also provide interesting facts about Denver International Airport.
Baggage Carts, Lockers and Storage
Baggage carts are located near ticket counters, baggage carousels and security-screening checkpoints in Jeppesen Terminal, Levels 5 and 6 . Cart rental is $3 and machines accept coins or bills. When you return the cart to any rack you will receive a 25-cent refund. For arriving international travelers, carts are provided at no charge in the Federal Inspection Services area. For the safety of all our guests, baggage carts are not allowed on the train, on moving walkways, or on any escalator.
Rental lockers are not available at the airport but a baggage storage facility is located in Jeppesen Terminal Level 5 . For more information, contact the Airport Baggage Center at (303) 342-5858.
Credit Union and ATM Services
The Public Service Credit Union branch at Denver International Airport is a full-service financial institution offering a variety of products and services, including savings, checking, loans, mortgages, home banking, travelers' checks, money orders and much more.
Located on Level 6 in Jeppesen Terminal , with 14 Co-Op Network ATMs positioned throughout the terminal and concourses, Public Service Credit Union provides convenient access to cash and financial services for employees and guests at Denver International Airport. In addition, through its affiliation with the Credit Union Shared Branching Network, credit union members from across the country can easily access their own credit union accounts right here at DIA.
Interfaith Chapel and Islamic Prayer Hall
The Jewish and Christian Interfaith Chapel and the Islamic Masjid are open 24 hours for meditation. They are located on Level 6, Terminal East atrium, at the south end.
AT&T WiFi provides wireless Internet access services throughout Concourses A, B, C, and Jeppesen Terminal. More than 130 access points are available.
You can activate a laptop computer equipped and configured for WiFi, and it will sync with the Denver International Airport's wireless network. An initial splash page will appear. On-screen instructions walk the user through required steps and options to sign up for an AT&T connection. All connection pricing options will appear once the "Get Connected" button is clicked.
At DIA, the connection cost is $7.99 for 24 hours . DIA offers free access to its public Web site, FlyDenver.com and has other options for public access to the Web:
- All public payphones have data ports for standard dial-up Web access via a user's laptop. There is no charge when using the (800) ISP access numbers.
- The airport has 32 Internet stations available throughout Concourses A, B, and C, at 25 cents per minute.

DIA has one designated pet exercise area located outside of Jeppesen Terminal on Level 2. Arriving passengers who need to exercise a pet cannot go outside a concourse gate because concourses are located in secure zones. Instead, arriving passengers must take the airport train to the terminal to go outside. The trains are located in the center core of each concourse.
At the terminal, on Level 2, outside Door 200 Terminal West is a small grassy areas designated for pet relief or exercise. Please plan on at least 30 minutes travel time to the terminal and back to your gate (factor in the time needed to go through security screening again).

A full-service retail U.S. Post Office is located on Level 6 West of the Jeppesen Terminal . Passengers and visitors at Denver International Airport can mail letters and packages, as well as purchase stamps, commemorative gifts, or packaging materials. Hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mondays through Saturdays.
Rocky Mountain USO Center at Denver International Airport
The Rocky Mountain United Service Organization (USO) Center is for traveling armed forces men and women and their families. It is located beyond security screening in the Presidents Club at the end of the pedestrian bridge connecting Jeppesen Terminal with Concourse A.

DIA is a non-smoking airport with the exception of four smoking lounges. The Aviator's Club is located on the west side of Jeppesen Terminal, Level 6, in the atrium. The second smoking lounge, Mesa Verde, is on the center core mezzanine of Concourse A. Concourse B's Aviator's Club smoking lounge is on the mezzanine level, center core, and the smoking lounge at Concourse C, Smokin' Bear, is on the center core's concourse level. You can also smoke outside the terminal, but not the concourses (there is no outside access).

Travelers may also obtain information at the Ground Transportation Information Counter located on Level 5 of Jeppesen Terminal. Counter hours are 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., daily. Services available include:

Terminals, airlines and destinations
Denver International Airport has three midfield concourses , spaced far apart. Concourse A is accessible via a pedestrian bridge directly from the terminal building, as well as via the underground train system that services all three concourses. For access to Concourses B and C, passengers must utilize the underground train system . Since the design of the airport countenanced no back-up plan to the train system (for instance, no underground pedestrian tunnels) the occasions on which the trains have failed have been embarrassing to the airport management.
United Airlines controls about 57% of all the passenger traffic at DIA.
The concourses and main terminal have a similar layout compared to Atlanta's airport , except that DEN has no "T" gates directly attached to the terminal.
The airport charges relatively high landing fees to airlines in order to offset its construction costs as a direct result of the airport being built to support hub operations of United and Continental. Continental subsequently abandoned the hub shortly before their Bankruptcy in the 90's and prior to the Airport opening. While these fees had led to an effort to increase competition from Colorado Springs Airport , the failure of Western Pacific Airlines and Southwest Airlines 's decision to operate out of DIA has left DIA as the only major national airport in the region.
On December 14 , 2006 , The Denver Post reported that DIA is expanding Concourse C in the airport's "first major concourse expansion." At least eight new gates will be constructed at the east end of Concourse C estimated at a total of approximately $160 million. Construction on Concourse C is estimated to take 3 years and will allow primarily Southwest Airlines , but also other carriers, to increase flight schedules at one of the nation's fastest-growing airports.
Denver International Airport's Concourse B also recently expanded with the addition of a regional jet terminal at the east side of Concourse B. This Regional Jet concourse consists of two smaller concourses or fingers which are connected to Concourse B via two bridges  . These gates allow direct jet bridge access to smaller Regional Jets . With the opening of the Regional Jet Concourse, United Airlines has left Concourse A entirely and now operates solely from Concourse B.
The Airport has also announced plans to revise the Airport Master Plan to account for changing circumstances since the airport opened. According to the December 14 , 2006 , Denver Post and Rocky Mountain News articles, plans are being drafted to extend the Main terminal to the South. This change would increase the number of ticketing counters and would also include a rail station for the terminus of the FasTracks commuter rail line from Denver 's Union Station .
Denver also stated that they have started discussions with Frontier Airlines over possibly building another Regional Jet terminal on Concourse A. Since Denver International Airport is privately funded from operations all construction would be financed by bonds.
The Pedestrian Bridge connecting DIA's Jeppesen Terminal with Concourse A. Concourse A is the only concourse at DIA that is accessible without having to board an underground train.
Denver International Airport's Jeppesen Terminal, named after aviation safety pioneer Elrey Jeppesen , is the land side of the airport. Road traffic accesses the airport directly off of Peña Blvd which in turn is fed by Interstate 70 and E-470 . Two parking garages are directly attached to the terminal. The terminal is separated into west and east terminals for passenger drop off and pickup. The central area of the airport houses two security screening areas as well as a large fountain and exits from the underground train system. The north side of the Jeppensen Terminal contains a third security screening area and a segregated immigration and customs area.
Passengers are routed first to the ticket gates for checking in. Since all gates at Denver are in the outlying concourses, passengers must pass through any one of the three separate security screening areas for admittance into the secure air side of the airport.
After leaving the main terminal via the train or pedestrian bridge, passengers can access 138 gates on 3 separate concourses (A, B, & C)
